Irina Shayk Turns Heads in Daring Dolce & Gabbana Dress at Venice Film Festival

Irina Shayk made a striking red carpet appearance at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival, stepping out in a dramatic black Dolce & Gabbana look that quickly became one of the standout fashion moments of the event.

The 40-year-old Russian supermodel attended the premiere of The Echo Chamber on September 6 at the Venice Lido, wearing a fitted black satin dress featuring large cutout panels along both sides. The open sections were connected with lace-up detailing, creating a bold silhouette while highlighting Shayk’s figure.

Shayk completed the Dolce & Gabbana ensemble with coordinating black satin pieces underneath the dress, pointed-toe stiletto heels and a sparkling silver crystal mesh choker. A large statement ring added another touch of glamour to the monochromatic outfit.

The dress comes from Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection created in collaboration with Kim Kardashian and draws inspiration from an archival 2003 design previously worn on the runway by Gisele Bündchen.

She returned to the red carpet on September 7 for the screening of L’Estranea, once again choosing black but switching to a more minimalist aesthetic.

For that appearance, Shayk wore a draped black gown with asymmetric details and paired it with sleek footwear and silver jewelry. Her hair was pulled back, creating a noticeably different look from the loose waves she wore the previous evening.

The appearances demonstrated two contrasting sides of Shayk’s red carpet style — provocative archival glamour for The Echo Chamber followed by a more understated, sculptural look for L’Estranea.
